O-200 system of water treatment, storage of water and water supply

The 0-200 system of water treatment, storage of water and water supply is designed for water purification of wells from suspensions, colloids, dissolved organic matters, the compounds of iron, manganese, sulfur as well as for storage and delivery of the purified water under pressure to the customer’s main (the use of a pump station after the system is not required).

The system may be used for water supply of the houses to 20 people at the consumption rate of 250 l/person in day.

When using water only for drinking and culinary, the system may be used for water supply up to 1,000 people.

The system consists of two blocks: the block for water treatment and the tank for storage of purified water.

The system is mounted on the frame of anodized aluminum machine-tool profile equipped the vibration-isolating wheels. The system pipelines are made of polypropylene pipes, the electrical communications are in the polyamide corrugated tube. All units with the induction motors are set on the isolation pads.

The tank for storage of purified water is made of food polyethylene, has the cover with a breathing valve, the level switch electrodes and the accessories for connection to the block of water treatment.

Technology of water treatment

A source water comes to the input of the high-pressure pump and is delivered under pressure for treatment. A water is cleared of mechanical impurities and dissolved organic matters in the preliminary filter according to the type of the used cartridges, mixed with a compressed air and comes to the tank for pressure aeration.

An air is dissolved in water under pressure. The dissolved oxygen interacts with the impurities dissolved in water on the catalytic filling surface. Iron, manganese, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide are oxidized in the tank for pressure aeration. The suspensions formed during oxidation are collected by the catalytic filling layer.

Automated air-water flushing of the catalytic filling is carried out by a backflow of the purified water and a compressed air at regular intervals (if the tank for storage of purified water is filled to the upper level).

The purified water from the tank for pressure aeration comes to the post-filter, where the suspensions, the wear debris of the filling not trapped in the catalytic filling layer are removed from it, and the dissolved organic matters are adsorbed according to the type of the used cartridges.

The purified water passes through the water counter of permeate, is dosed with sodium hypochlorite and comes to the storage tank.

The purified water from the storage tank is pumped out by the pump for purified water and delivered in the customer’s main and for flushing of the catalytic filling. The delivery line of the purified water has the pneumatic tank for correct response of the pump control system.

The system is fully ready for operation, has the consumable for operation for 3 months.

When operating, the system uses sodium hypochlorite, the filter cartridges and an electrical energy.

Sodium hypochlorite is used as 5% water solution (it is sold as BELIZNA trade mark). It is necessary to replace the filter cartridges after treatment of 10 m3 of source water. The system for water treatment consumes an electrical energy up to 5.0 kW·h per 1 m3 of purified water.

Drainage waters of the system are nontoxic, and their water evacuation on a relief and in the natural reservoirs is admissible without additional treatment.

The system is completely automated and does not demand a control from the user.
