Dielectric mirrors for He-Ne ring laser gyros

The dielectric mirrors for He-Ne ring laser gyros are designed for circular polarization of an incident emission at 632.8 nm. They have the low transmission, integral scattering and absorption losses. The mirrors are made by ion-beam deposition using the systems with oil-free exhaust facility (cryogenic pumps), the means for optical or quartz control.
